89.1FM Big City Radio

Big City Radio (launched on 1 November 2005 as Aston FM) is a British community radio station based at Star City in Nechells Birmingham. The station is run by Murfin Music International and broadcasts on 89.1FM to the Birmingham area and online.

Notable presenters at the station include long-established West Midlands radio personality Les Ross who became Big City's breakfast show presenter on 7 December 2009.[1] He left the station again at the end of March 2010. The station changed its name from Aston FM in 2009.

The Unsigned Show on Thursday nights is managed by Angry Duck. Angry Duck manage air time for community radio stations and this management is not for profit. Managing Director David Murphy works with many charity/community groups helping artists and musicians promote themselves.
